The wonderful ladies of the Red Hat Society joined us today. Throughout the tour of Penzance Dry Dock they kept CEO, Jamie Murphy on his toes with engaging questions and chatter.
The Dry Dock is an iconic part of the Penzance community, and we love showing people what goes on here and all of the exciting projects we're working on.
The Red Hat Society's ethos is ' Wherever you go, you may now see ladies around town sporting their purple outfits and their fabulous red hats, taking inspiration from the poem which is about embracing life and fun, rather than being held back by age, and what everyone expects an old lady to be and do.'
