Penzance Dry Dock committed to developing the site and continue to do things that have never been done here. We utilise all 6 operational spaces to create a highly efficient production line for ship building and mass fabrication projects.
We construct the hulls in the environmentally controlled warehouse, moving to the Dry Dock to test the watertight integrity and work under the waterline, before moving into the wet dock for final outfitting. This allows us to reduce lead times by working on several hulls simultaneously.
