Jamie Murphy

Jamie Murphy is the CEO of Penzance Dry Dock and the Linked Solutions group. His companies combine capabilities from the manufacturing and shipbuilding sectors with a long-established shipbuilding and repair facility.

Jamie started his career in the manufacturing sector before joining the Royal Navy and establishing himself as a multi-talented engineer specialising in propulsion systems. He set up the Linked Solutions group with the idea of establishing and supporting networks of engineering companies across the UK. Since acquiring Penzance Dry Dock, he has been focusing on growing the industry in the area specialising in ship repair and building, alongside training the next generation of marine engineers.

Starting as apprentice in the industry, Jamie is proud to have launched the Linked Solutions apprenticeship scheme in September 2021.
